Traditionally Discovering Germany

19:16 0 Comments

As I searched through the streets of Freiburg im Breisgau (Close to the Black Forest) I spotted a restaurant which looked like it served traditional German meals. The following is called Schnitzel (Schweineschnitzel) which is a thin, boneless cut of meat (veal or pork) which is covered in breadcrumbs, deep fried and served with thin slices of lemon, some roasted potatoes and vegetables on the side. The creamy mushroom sauce that went with it gave it the perfect finish. Definitely a must have!
